Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010. From 2009-2010, she starred as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution which is a post-apocalyptic science fiction show. The show was nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was the character Annika in the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. as Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos, both of whom were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta within a couple of years after her birth and then returned to Canada in 1992. She strongly identifies with her Greek heritage and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at the age of junior high school. She later went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She found her first television role within weeks, a small role on Supernatural. She continued to work in TV, and was able to get walk-on parts on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV film Goblin as well as the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Also, she had a recurring role in Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she was awarded her first leading role in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her feature film debut in the year 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes which she also directed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-helmed horror, Kill for Me, starring across from Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos was the character of Sammi in Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original film. Then, she was offered a lead role on the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in the future of a dystopian society. She auditioned while taking part in her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos made her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance on the first season of the series was nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. However, she lost to Anna Torv from Fringe's. For the second season, production was moved to Austin Texas.
