Camila Mendes

Camila Mendes (born 29 June 1994) is an American performer and actress. She is famous for her role as Veronica Lodge on The CW The CW's teen drama series Riverdale. While she is known to have moved 16 times during her childhood, the majority her early years were spent in Florida. American Heritage School was her homeand she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her zodiac sign is cancer. Camila Mendes has always been a lover of acting. Her first acting work for a commercial brand IKEA. In 2016, she received the an opportunity to play Veronica Lodge in the CW's popular teen drama Riverdale. Her role as the silver-tongued sophomore highschool student Veronica Lodge earned her a considerable amount of attention. She made her film debut in 2018 in the film The New Romantic where she played the character of Morgan. The movie premiered at the SXSW Festival in March in 2018. Then, she appeared in The Perfect Date, a Netflix romantic comedy. Also starring Laura Marano, Matt Walsh and Matt Walsh, they were also featured in the film. She appeared in the sci-fi/comedy Palm Springs, which was critically acclaimed in the year 2020. She was the part of Tala in this movie, that was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2018, she played the role of Dancer in the Maggie Rogers's music video, Give a little. The same year, she was also featured in the music video of Riley for The Chainsmokers with Emily Warren known as Side Effects.
